The Candlelight Inn on Lake Savard is situated at the base of the Saskatchewan Thickwood Hills, which makes for a remote beautiful setting only 1 ½ hours north of Saskatoon. You will be the only one on the north end of the lake!

The inn itself is 1500 square feet and can accommodate up to 8 people (12 with cots and airbeds) quite comfortably. We started this project approximately 5 years ago by cutting down just enough trees to build the inn. We let the trees dry naturally and then milled the lumber on site. Each and every piece of the structure was nailed by hand. The inside walls and floors are constructed with spruce, pine and poplar, which makes for a truly beautiful rustic look. Because this inn is our “personal” home away from home, it is decorated with many antiques. Some of the beds are hand-made from “Savard trees” by Gord.
