Northern Cross is a family oriented fishing and recreation resort with a wealth of natural attractions. Lac Des Iles, which is on the south edge of Canada's wild and uninhabited North Woods, offers everyone a chance to catch a big fish - kids have caught the biggest fish seven of the twenty years that we have been operating. Besides big pike, Lac Des Iles has trophy walleye and perch that can reach two pounds. If you have a float, canoe, dingy or small fishing boat the numerous nearby small and undeveloped lakes offer everyone a chance to experience a tranquil fish for pike, walleye, peach, lake trout and trout. However, not everyone enjoys fishing to the same degree, so at Northern Cross we provide facilities to keep the non-anglers and beach bums happy.
